Speaker # 1 Saher Javed

OK .... so I figured this out now because I posted the first two blogs as comments, but now they will be posts.

I enjoyed having Dr. Jolarson in our class today. I thought her exercise was neat, it made me think and reflect. Also, listening to her personal story and how she moved from one thing to the next was interesting to listen to. I agree to what she spoke about the psychology of women. How women can't become united and work together because of this mentality that women possess. I think the metaphor the professor used about the bird cage is a great example of how people think and are stuck in this cage with all of these limitations that exist and don't overcome them. However, others note it and progress, but I think the majority of women under estimate their abilities and don't try to make a difference.

I also thought Dr. Jolarson was an excellent speaker but I became confused when she did the diagram. I also liked you don't have to pick something before you excite college. She seems to live her life one day at a time and we should all be doing that. I also liked how she made a decision to move and experience things around the world we all would like to do. I also like the part just like Saher where if women don't stick together then we are not going to accomplish what we need to accomplish to get women same equal rights. Over all I thought she was a motivational speaker.

I simply agree with saher and bell, Dr. Jolarson was a fabulous speaker. I liked the fact that she made us do different excercises that really made us think about ourselves including the society. what i liked about her was that she seemed to be such an independent women therefore that maybe the reason why she was able to move around and experience different places around world. Just like saher and bell said in order for women to get equal rights is by sticking together and being united, that is the only way us women can earn equal rights. I am so glad that a amazing speaker like Dr. Jolarson was invited to our class because personally i really learned a lot from her, and i am sure that everyone in class may have learn something or the other from her.
